Snow Thrower Light

Q: I would like to purchase a light for my snow thrower. Is there one available?

A: Yes. First you need to find out if your engine has an alternator. Look for a wire connector on the right side of the engine’s blower shroud. If your engine has a wire connector, chances are your engine has an alternator. Light kits are available for around forty dollars — they simply bolt on the handle and plug in. If your engine does not have an alternator, you could go to a bicycle shop and purchase a snow thrower light that bolts onto the handle. The light is usually powered by four AA batteries.
