When to replace roto tiller tines

Q. How would I know it’s time to replace the tines on my roto tiller?

A. When the end of the tines are worn to a point and no longer till the ground.

  1. I took delivery of a Cub Cadet i1046 zero turn machine on 03/31/2007. I noticed today, 04/07/2012 that the ring gear is no longer in contact with the flywheel. starter will engage ring gear and quick spin it but ring gear must have broken off of flywheel. Is there a service bulletin on this ? I see that there is a new part number, which sometimes indicates recall on the part. Please contact me and advise on cost to repair…
