The Honda Generator EM6500SX is powered by a Honda 389 cc single-cylinder overhead valve commercial-grade engine to power a wide variety of appliances in your home. This machine has a 6.2 gallon fuel capacity with a built-in fuel gauge on top.
This generator features provides Honda’s exclusive iAVR (Inteligent Automatic Voltage Regulation) technology which ensures a consistent flow of power. The iAVR technology allows the generator to operate above its maximum rating, making it possible for the generator to provide 7000 watts for 10 seconds to start larger equipment.
Honda Generator EM6500SX runs approximately 6.5 hours on a tank of fuel at a full rated load approximately 10.5 hours on a tank of fuel at a half rated load, making it great for overnight power. This model also comes standard with electric key start, as well as a recoil start back-up. Honda Generator EM6500SX also comes standard with a DC Outlet for battery charging and each individual circuit is protected by its own built-in circuit breaker.
The engine is protected by Honda’s Oil Alert which will shut the engine down if the oil pressure gets too unsafe level. There is a built-in steel construction to protect the generator, a folding handle for easy storage, and a built-in wheel kit for easy maneuvering and transport.
