Exmark Radius Series Zero Turn Riders

The Exmark Radius line of zero turns consists of an E, S and X series.

Exmark built their reputation on building top commercial equipment. The Lazer series of zero turn riders are by far the number one sellers, both for commercial users and homeowners. Exmark took what they knew from the Lazer line and put it in a Radius with features geared more towards the homeowner, to come in a little lower price point.

All mowers in the Radius line have a heavy tube frame, a nice platform with a step that makes it very easy to get onto the machine. A lot of nice convenience features are available, like your height of cut, foot pedal assists to lift, nice big cushion grips, very comfortable, and an adjustable seat for different height operators.

The Exmark Radius E series are offered in 48, 52, and 60 inch cutting widths. If you have some of those smaller areas Exmark offers a smaller, 44-inch, deck in the E series. This series offers an exceptional value for the homeowner that really wants the best.

The Radius E has a very nice seat, but it doesn’t have any suspension. If you have that rough terrain and don’t want to get into the higher end X series that comes standard with a full suspension seat, we can add that seat, and it’s a good value to add. It’s a full suspension seat with a dial for the weight of the operator and it’s a full suspension platform so you can add that to any model in the Exmark Radius E series lineup.

The Exmark Radius S lineup looks a bit different. This whole platform is on a suspension system which helps absorb that rough terrain and gives you more of a rocking effect, giving you an extremely comfortable ride.

As you move up into the S series, besides the suspension platform, Exmark upgraded to cage bearings in the front caster wheels for added life versus the bushings on the E series. They used the same engine and drivetrain as the E series, but the engine goes to a heavy-duty canister type air filtering system, so you get a longer life and longer time between air filter cleanings.

The Exmark Radius X series offers full-blown commercial machines. They have the same frame system as the E and S series but on the X series models you go to the series four deck versus the series three. The series three is constructed the same as the four but the series four is a deeper deck, built to handle higher grass volumes. Exmark X series models use larger pumps, larger hydro pumps and larger drive tires that give you up to 10 mile an hour mowing.

With these models, you go to premium, Kawasaki FX series commercial engines with a large cyclonic heavy-duty air filtering system to give you very long intervals between air filter cleaning and changes. The deluxe suspension seat that was optional on the E series, is standard with the easy to adjust dial for the weight of the operator. You’ll receive exceptional ride comfort with the deluxe seat and large drive tires.

Another nice feature with across the full Radius lineup is the quickly folding roll bar system.

We get asked a lot “how do I change the blades on my lawn mower” or “how do I clean my mower deck?” Zero turn mowers with the belly mount design are hard to get to but Radius mowers include a little jack mount. Just slide on the jack, lock it in place, and crank the jack. You’ll still want to put something underneath the mower if it should fall off the jack but overall, it’s a very safe and effective way to get underneath your mower deck.

These Exmark Radius mowers will just plain out cut in any condition, and do a better job cutting and dispersing grass than other mowers out there.
