Boss VBX V-Box hopper spreaders are available in six and a half, eight foot, and nine foot lengths which gives you a one and a half, two or three cubic yard capacity. Depending on the size of your vehicle there are a lot of different spreader options. They all come with the Poly hopper.
Boss has done a great job of eliminating the corrosion possibilities that the salt entails. Even the motors are all sealed, and stainless steel. Poly spinners help with corrosion, you’ll notice a nice guard around the spinner. When you backup, the poly spinners help protect the motor from any damage.
Boss VBX spreaders come standard with a lot of features that used to be optional like the graded top screen is now standard. Dual lights that are controlled either from the back or from the inside control panel, and the vibrator, one on each side, is now standard as well.
Another nice feature, all Boss VBX spreaders are pre-wet capable. If you want to have a pre wetting system part of your spreader, the saddle tank is an available accessory that gives you the option on any of the VBX spreaders.
The controller is very simple to use. It’s a compact controller that controls all your functions from your spinner speed to your auger speed as well as controlling your lights all from inside the cab.
