It is powered by a 389 cc Honda overhead valve commercial-grade engine. This generator features a 6.2 gallon fuel tank with a built-in fuel gauge on the top.
The Honda Generator EB6500X runs 6.5 hours on a tank of fuel at a full rated load or 10.5 hours on a tank of fuel at a half rated load.
All the Honda EB models are GFCI (Ground fault circuit protection) circuit protected. Each plug is also protected by its own built-in circuit breaker. Honda Generator EB6500X features auto throttle which allows the generator to kick down to an idle when there’s no demand for power.
Honda’s exclusive iAVR (Inteligent Automatic Voltage Regulation) technology ensures a consistent flow of power and lets the generator operate above its maximum rating for up to 10 seconds to start larger equipment.
