Buyer’s Guide to Cub Cadet RZT S Zero Turn Riders

Zero turn riders have become very popular because they are extremely productive. They save a lot of cutting time, especially if you have a lot of trees and obstacles to mow around. Cub Cadet RZT S Zero Turn Riders are designed with professional-grade features to help you easily and efficiently navigate your yard. Here’s everything you need to know when buying a Cub Cadet RZT S Zero Turn Rider.

The Cub Cadet model RTZ stands for Residential Zero Turn Rider. Cub Cadet has taken the Residential Zero Turn one step further with the revolutionary Cub Cadet RZT zero turns with a steering wheel – Cub Cadet RZT S series mowers.

The typical zero turn riders are designed with a lap bar for steering. Some don’t feel comfortable with the traditional lap bar, so the steering wheel models may be best for you. The Cub Cadet zero turns are equipped with a steering wheel have all of the same functionality, just with an easier steering method.

With the RZT S zero turn riders, Cub Cadet has incorporated two drive pumps like conventional zero turns, but they incorporated steering linkage. So as you are pushing on the hydro pumps, you are also turning the front wheels. With this, you will get a true zero turn.

Cub Cadet RZT S Zero Turn Riders are also much more stable on hillsides due to the front castors. When these wheels turn, they eliminate the mower wanting to nosedive down the hill, making these machines much safer and secure on hillsides.

The RZT S models are available in 42 inch, 46 inch, 50 inch, or 54 inch cutting widths. All the Cub Cadet mower decks have the wash-out port which allows you to hook a garden hose on the deck and wash it without having to crawl underneath the mower.

The engines on these mowers are available in Kohler or Kawasaki. The mowing height can be set with one lever from 1 inch to 4 inch. These mowers also feature hour meters that show a battery indicator light, low oil light, and PTO clutch light. Cub Cadet has an electric power take off clutch. This allows you to easily engage your mower deck with one switch.

Cub Cadet RZT S Zero Turn Riders are built with you in mind. They are powerful, extremely maneuverable, and built strong to last long.
