Billy Goat Outback Brushcutters are designed for clearing heavy brush. Billy Goat offers a variety of brushcutter models, one being a fixed deck model with a gear drive transmission as well as a model with a hydrostatic drive, so it’s like a tractor transmission, and has a pivoting front head.
The pivoting head comes in handy if you’re in rougher terrain because it will follow the terrain better. If you have a lot of dips and holes this machine will follow the contour better, for less tearing up of the turf. The pivoting head just pivots in the center, so it’ll pivot back and forth.
These brushcutters are equipped with a heavy swinging blade and what’s nice about that blade is it’s reversible so as you dull up one side because you’re cutting a lot of heavy stuff, you can flip it over and have a sharp side to work with. This was a very thoughtful thing Billy Goat did to double the life of the blade.
