Electric Pressure Washers
The RE 90 features 1,800 psi that develops 1.2 gallons per water per minute. Designed for light cleanup, this model comes with a 19-foot hose to clean sidewalks, decks, driveways, and more. The compact and lightweight design combines with the smooth-rolling wheels to deliver a portable cleaner that’s easy to use around your home.
Stihl’s other electric model is the RE 110. It puts out the same gallons per minute as the RE 90 but you go up to 2,400 psi. The RE 110 features a hose reel to help keep your spray hose intact.
Gas Pressure Washers
The RB 200 can output 2,500 psi of water pressure at 2.7 gallons per minute. This has over twice the water volume so it’s going to do a much more effective job cleaning. This has its place for light cleanup, to clean up your patio furniture, those kinds of things, but if you want to do some more serious cleaning you want to get into something with a 2.5 gallon per minute pressure washer output.
This has different nozzles so depending on the use you can select different nozzles to give you a different pattern or more streamline if you need higher pressure. The RB 200 also features a nice cart with big wheels, which makes it easy to maneuver and transport.
As we move up the Stihl line of power washers, the next model is the RB 400. This goes to 2,700 psi and features bigger pneumatic wheels to go through rougher areas. With a much heavier frame and heavier duty pump, this pressure washer delivers excellent performance and durability. The brass head and heavy-duty engine provide long-lasting value.
The RB 600 starts Stihl’s commercial line. The RB 600 can output 3,200 psi at 3 gallons per minute so you’re going to get both higher pressure and higher gpm. This is a nice step up into a commercial grade pressure washer. It gets you a heavier duty pump, big brass pump head and brass regulator valve.
The RB 800 is the most impressive one in the Stihl lineup, delivering 4 gallons per minute at 4,200 psi so you jump up about 25 more psi. If you’re looking for professional power and performance, the RB 800 is the machine you need. It gives you larger diameter holes to handle extra volume.
This unit is a little bit heavier than the other models, but it’s designed with big wheels, so just tip it back, get the weight up on the wheels and it moves around extremely well. The pump is considerably larger capacity, making this a true commercial grade pump for heavy duty applications.
