The mowers in the SX and S series are basically the same mechanical machine. With the SX models, however, Cub Cadet cleaned up the operator controls, cleaned up the foot pedals, and provided a cleaner design on the dash panel. The foot pedals on these mowers allow you to set the steering column to the desired height. These mowers drive more like a tractor. Use the foot pedal to control the mower\u2019s speed. The more you push down on the pedal the faster you go. The EFI is an excellent option because the electronic fuel injection eliminates the need for a choke for starting and is also much better in cold weather starts. It gives you better fuel economy, more consistent power, and a higher torque curve than a conventional carburetor engine.
