The Ventrac\u00a04500 tractor<\/a> has been around a long time\u00a0and it’s built on versatility.\u00a0It performs so many different functions, with about 28 different attachments. This tractor is really a year-round machine and the versatility\u00a0is just incredible.<\/p>\n

To start off, the 4500 <\/a>articulates. This offers exceptional maneuverability but also the frame\u00a0oscillates. If you’re on\u00a0a hillside or if you fall into a little dip,\u00a0that oscillating frame keeps all four wheels with\u00a0constant contact for added safety and security and\u00a0better traction.<\/p>\n

The Ventrac\u00a04500 tractor<\/a> is very easy to\u00a0operate, it has a nice low center of gravity so you\u00a0feel very comfortable. It’s driven with hand\u00a0controls but there are optional foot controls,\u00a0and all the controls are right up front making it easy to run your PTO. The parking brake, hour meter, and all your gauges\u00a0are very easy and convenient to operate.<\/p>\n

The Ventrac 4500<\/a> features a weight transfer valve so depending on the attachment you use you can transfer more weight\u00a0to the wheels or less weight depending on the\u00a0application. If you need additional traction you\u00a0can use some of that implement weight and transfer\u00a0on the wheels.\u00a0An optional deluxe suspension\u00a0seat is available. It\u2019s adjustable for the weight of the\u00a0operator. It’s exceptionally comfortable so if\u00a0you’re out working all day, you’re not going to have\u00a0the fatigue like you will with some machines.<\/p>\n

There are four\u00a0different engines available for the 4500 tractors<\/a> in gas or\u00a0diesel. The most popular unit has the 31 horsepower\u00a0Kubota gas engine because that is the most powerful of the\u00a0engine options and it has exceptional torque for\u00a0a gas engine unit. There are latches\u00a0on the side of the hood, so the engine hood flips up. This allows for exceptionally easy maintenance; everything is easy to access to do any maintenance work on this machine.<\/p>\n

There are several attachments available for the Ventrac 4500 tractor<\/a>. The attachments are all hydraulic driven tools versus\u00a0drive shaft through gearboxes. You get much\u00a0more efficiency, a more durable drive,\u00a0and more torque out of the hydraulics\u00a0versus the gearboxes.\u00a0The quick-tach system\u00a0allows you to remove attachments very easily.<\/p>\n

The versatility is what the\u00a0Ventrac\u00a04500 tractor<\/a> is all about. Once you have the tractor\u00a0unit, as you have different applications\u00a0you can add the different attachments.\u00a0Another nice thing with the Ventrac, a lot of\u00a0times you look at machines with attachments and\u00a0you question how well the attachments work\u00a0because a lot of times manufacturers will go to an\u00a0attachment company and they just use what they\u00a0have and adapt it to their machine. Ventrac <\/a>builds\u00a0all their attachments in-house so they are\u00a0designed and tested to use on the 4500 tractors<\/a>\u00a0so there\u2019s a difference in\u00a0the performance from a lot of the other machines\u00a0because of that. Ventrac is not making something\u00a0work that is in the market, they are designing it\u00a0to work on this machine.<\/p>\n

We mentioned the low center of gravity but Ventrac<\/a>\u00a0also offers a dual wheel kit for the tractor so it gives you a wider stance to give you better\u00a0center of gravity for those hillsides and also to\u00a0support some of these larger attachments. They also offer a counterweight\u00a0system to offset\u00a0the weight of the attachments. What’s nice with the Ventrac<\/a>, once\u00a0you have the machine you can add different\u00a0tools down the road to give you that\u00a0added versatility.<\/p>\n
