There are two Toro 60-volt electric lawn mower models<\/a>, a Recycler, and a Super Recycler.\u00a0\u00a0These are based on the same\u00a0proven technology that Toro’s had for years,\u00a0as well as excellent cut quality, an excellent drive performance with the electrified platform.<\/p>\n

Toro’s 60-volt system is also referred to as the flex force\u00a0system. There are a\u00a0lot of different tools available that use the flex force\u00a0system from string\u00a0trimmers to leaf blowers and snow blowers, so\u00a0right now there’s 35 different tools that are on the same platform.<\/p>\n

Recycler<\/h3>\n

The Recycler uses a steel deck housing. Recycler\u00a0technology uses an atomic blade which creates good\u00a0vacuum and it’s got shredding knives. It does an\u00a0excellent job mulching the grass but something\u00a0they added this year to the Recycler series, vents at the front of the mower. This is like an air induction system, so it brings more airflow into the deck to get the grass to stand\u00a0up for a nice clean cut. You get the same mulching\u00a0performance as the past Recycler series, but this unit delivers a little cleaner cut\u00a0than past models.<\/p>\n

All the Recyclers <\/a>come standard with a bag. To remove the bag, just flip the lever\u00a0down and close the door. You can also use the mower for mulching once the bag is removed. This is also equipped with the personal\u00a0pace drive system, which allows you to mow at speeds that are adjustable to your walking pace. The personal pace system is really\u00a0what makes Toro special. The personal pace is convenient and very user friendly.<\/p>\n

Toro does make a standard\u00a0rear wheel drive model. We don’t stock it\u00a0because the personal pace system is what really makes this\u00a0mower.<\/p>\n

Super Recycler<\/h3>\n

New for this year is the Super Recycler<\/a>.\u00a0It uses the same motor as the Recycler, but this is on the Super Recycler chassis and the Super Recycler has a\u00a0cast aluminum deck housing.\u00a0\u00a0The cast aluminum deck housing is very strong\u00a0and durable and doesn’t rust. The aluminum absorbs vibration during use so there’s less vibration in the handles compared to a steel deck mower.<\/p>\n

The Super Recycler<\/a> features the same motor but comes\u00a0standard with a 7 \u00bd amp battery\u00a0versus the Recycler which comes standard with the 6\u00a0amp. The 7 \u00bd amp battery\u00a0will give you about 10 minutes longer run time compared to the 6 amp. The Recycler gives you the higher quality\u00a0deck and the Super Recycler technology has some kickers underneath that’ll cut the grass\u00a0up a little bit finer than the standard Recycler.<\/p>\n

The Super Recycler<\/a> has a little bigger\u00a0battery and the same awesome personal pace\u00a0system. Something Toro added in the last couple\u00a0years to their Super Recyclers is their flex handles.<\/p>\n

There are shocks\u00a0in the mower handles so the flex handles help absorb the vibration during mowing, or if you mow over rough terrain it takes\u00a0the impact away from the operator\u00a0with that shock absorbing handle system.<\/p>\n

The Super Recycler<\/a> is probably one of the most user\u00a0friendly, most comfortable mowers you’re ever\u00a0going to use.<\/p>\n

Both machines\u00a0come with a three year battery warranty\u00a0but the mower warranty is two years on the\u00a0Recycler <\/a>where you get a five year full warranty on the Super Recycler<\/a>.<\/p>\n
