Air filter maintenance may seem like a small task, but it&#8217;s very important for the health and performance of your machine. Here\u2019s how to change the <a href=\"https:\/\/weingartz.com\/\/searchPage.action?keyWord=air%20filter\">air filter<\/a> on your Toro zero turn rider.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uFJroBjvYLE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Before performing any maintenance on your <a href=\"https:\/\/weingartz.com\/Toro-Zero-Turn-Riders\">Toro zero turn rider<\/a>, refer to your owner\u2019s manual for recommended maintenance and safety information. Maintenance instructions vary by model, so depending on the model of your zero turn, our instructions may vary slightly. Check your owner\u2019s manual to get instructions specific to your model.<\/p>\n<p>Park your mower on a flat, level surface. Turn the engine off and allow it to cool. Remove the ignition key and disconnect the spark plug ignition wire to prevent accidental starting. Engage the parking brake.<\/p>\n<p>What you\u2019ll need: Replacement <a href=\"https:\/\/weingartz.com\/\/searchPage.action?keyWord=air%20filter\">air filter<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To change the air filter on a <a href=\"https:\/\/weingartz.com\/Toro-Zero-Turn-Riders\">Toro zero turn<\/a>, pull up on the air filter cover and clean any type of debris that might have stacked\u00a0up in here. Take the air filter out, pull from\u00a0the front of the air filter towards the back.<\/p>\n<p>With the air filter removed, replace it with a new one. When putting the <a href=\"https:\/\/weingartz.com\/\/searchPage.action?keyWord=air%20filter\">air filter<\/a> back in, push the intake in first and then\u00a0push down towards the front.
