I can&#8217;t seem to get it installed, that is, how does the spring get installed? The drawing on your website is no help and I&#8217;m stuck. The discharge chute is part number AM117246 and the torsion spring part number is M73536. Does it take a special tool to install this spring? Can you help?<\/em> <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is no special tool for installing the spring on your John Deere LT155 riding mower. What you need to do is to keep tension on the spring while feeding the pin through the discharge chute, deck and spring all at the same time. It is not an easy task.
